ACEO MINI QUILT *  Square in a Square variation by Luci© 2 1/2" X 3 1/2" I made this card in a different way than I usually do.  The top and bottom are fused together on to a layer of really thick interfacing, this makes it feel more like a card.  This mini quilt is made with all cotton fabric.  The center focus fabric is a pretty floral print, there are three sets of triangles completing the design in complimentary fabrics.  The backing fabric is the same purple batik as the large triangles.  I have zig zagged stitched to finish the edge.  More, more, must make more!!!  I want to thank all of you that have been collecting my work.  I really have fun making these, but it's wonderful that people like what I do and want to own it!  As always, your input is welcome and appreciated.  Let me know if you have something special in mind for an ACEO.  Sincerely, Luci ACEOs are miniature pieces of art that measure 2-1/2" x 3-1/2".  The acronym "ACEO" stands for Art Cards, Editions and Originals.  Like artist trading cards, aceo's can be made with any media, material, or method as long as they measure 2-1/2" x 3-1/2".   I love to create these little cards/quilts!  I am just getting started!  I have saved every scrap 1/2 inch or bigger from every project for many years and now I have finally found a use for them, so check back often to see what's new.
