Never attach yourself by the gear loops to your belay anchors, climbing rope, rappel device while rappelling or to your jumars while jumaring.A plastic haul loop will not hold a climbers weight. Never attach yourself to your belay anchors or to your climbing rope by the haul loop. A webbing haul loop, while full strength (>15KN), is only intended as an attachment point for a trail rope.
