Custom-made heavy-duty (cord is 550 lb test) suede leather bow stringer for recurve, takedown, or longbow.
Compare this one to cheaper-made (but not cheaper priced!) thin-pocketed-held-by-rivets stringers being offered. It was my fear of those rivets popping open at a crucial moment that led me to make this superior design.
And be aware of stringers which only attach to one tip end! They tend to slide and pinch as you're trying to slip your string onto the open tip end.
Protect your bow limbs from twisting or other damage... more importantly, protect your own limbs from bruises and recoil!
Sure, old school methods of leg step-through or instep pull-push were what our dads taught us... but all manufacturers now recommend the use of a bow stringer to protect both equipment and archer.
Please note that the colors of the cord and/or the pouches might vary from the picture, but the style and quality remain the same. Satisfaction guaranteed or your money cheerfully refunded.Let me know your AMO bow length or the measurement from tip to tip, unstrung. That way I can customize the length of cord, if necessary. If you don't know, I'll include a standard length that will handle bows up to 72" long. Note, too, that you can easily make the cord shorter yourself simply by untying and retying to your desired length.
I keep shipping prices down, too. $2.30 to anywhere in the continental United States. And now for the standard legal disclaimer:Archery equipment, in which bows and strings and such are under varying amounts of pressure and subject to wear, can be hazardous if not handled and maintained properly. By purchasing this item, the buyer agrees to assume full responsibility for the use, care, and maintenance of the product, and to determine suitability of use for his/her personal bow and/or other bow-stringing and bow-making tasks. |
