What's the big deal about titanium? Simply put, titanium is the strongest metal pound for pound. With it, you can have incredibly strong frames without it being excessively heavy. Stronger frames resist breaking which is always important and allows for greater rigidity helping you have more accuracy and transfering more power to the ball. If titanium is so great how come everything isn't made of titanium? The answer--cost. It is super-expensive. If you want every advantage, then you should have a titanium racquet. This racquet features a teardrop-shaped face with fan-stringing. This has been proven to give a larger sweet spot. Even if your shot is not exactly centered, you have a better chance of getting off a decent shot with a greater margin of error. That is crucially important for all level players.
