Large Vintage Brass Covered Wooden Chest Embossed
Up for auction is this large brass covered wooden chest. The chest is made entirely of wood and then metal brass colored sheets have been laid over it. I do not know what the metal is. The metal sheets are heavily embossed and have a man and horse plowing as the main design. All along the edges is a decorative scrollwork border. The other sides of the chest are also done in brass colored sheets but have no picture scene.They are done in a basket weave look design. The chest is in good condition.The lid is hinged.
