This is the most rare and most sought after of the Lew's series of baitcasting reels. These are the last and they are not making any more. This beautiful collector set is complete with the numbered box, the velvet bag with numbered tag, extra spool, tools and all paperwork. The reel, cloth bag, and box are all serially numbered. I found this one at a going-out of business sale. The reel had been mounted on a rod for display with no line on it. There are two minor issues that you need to be aware of. This reel is new and unused but, there are two small scratches from handling. One is on the metal right side case just after the word Childre and to the left of the thumbscrew. This is visible in the photo. The other is on the brushed aluminum cover on the left side case. This one is not visible in the photos and is obviously very small. Aside from these handling marks, the reel is absolutely new! The red grease the factory uses to lube the level wind worm gear is still present.
