For your consideration - these NOS "New Old Stock" HO-scale couplers from Kadee Products Co., still sealed in original packaging.   For the HO scale hobbyist…a quick, inexpensive way to stock up on Kadee couplers... one bid price for this 6-package assortment, with FREE First Class shipping to USA and Canada. This auction of for Kadee product #'s 4, 6, 7, 8, 27 and 28. I've typed up the specs on each, as well as provided a scan of each package (see below). Each package outfits 2 complete cars. These packages are all "New Old Stock", from a local hobby shop auction – sealed in original Kadee packaging. Coupler styles in this auction… Kadee # 4 (1 pkg.) …can be used for equipment with cast-on draft gear box having small pin type centering post. Fits MDC Roundhouse all-metal engine kits, some Ulrich cars and wooden floor car kits. Kadee # 6 (1 pkg.) …used for mounting in confined areas, particularly steam and diesel loco pilots, and unusual situations where our #4 and #5 will not readily fit. The #6 coupler has a long shank of 13/32" from the back of the knuckle head to the pivot post center. Kadee # 7 (1 pkg.) …the #7 has an underset shank, .050" lower than a centered shank. This can be used for locos and cars with low mounting platforms. The #7 coupler has a short shank of ¼" from the back of the knuckle head to the pivot post center. Kadee # 8 (1 pkg.) …used for mounting in confined areas, particularly steam and diesel loco pilots, and unusual situations where our #4 and #5 will not readily fit. The #8 coupler has a medium shank of 5/16" from the back of the knuckle head to the pivot post center. Kadee # 27 (1 pkg.) …multi-purpose insulated couplers designed for locomotive pilot mounting and other unusual mounting situations found on Bachmann, Life-Like, Model Power, A.H.M., and Tyco Talgo-style trucks. The #27 coupler has a shorter .277" underset shank for low mounting platforms and tight clearances. Kadee # 28 (1 pkg.) …multi-purpose insulated couplers designed for locomotive pilot mounting and other unusual mounting situations found on Bachmann, Life-Like, Model Power, A.H.M., and Tyco Talgo-style trucks. The #28 coupler has a medium 19/64" centerset shank for standard height mounting platforms.
