The Key Chain This unique 1.5" diameter key tag is made of durable 1/8" thick pewter metal which is easy to clean with a damp cloth. It has a sturdy 1" diameter key ring. The Image The image on this key chain is a high resolution photo of a used baseball. It has a few dirt markings (but less than our other baseball design) which serve to enhance the texture of the surface of the ball and give it a 3-dimensional look. The Process We use a process called Sublimation which permanently imprints an image into the surface of a specially coated product. The inks used are actually dyes and are heated to 400 degrees fahrenheit by a special heat plate and then pressed into the item at 40 to 80 psi (pounds per square inch) for a specific amount of time to allow the dyes to penetrate the surface of the product.
