GG & Company Schrade Walden of Ellenville, NY and now Imperial Schrade, still of Ellenville, has been the largest maker of pocket and hunting knives in the United States, if not the world. They did the very first collaboration  between a manufacturer and a handmade knifemaker (a Loveless designed hunting knife in 1971-72) and the first commemorative knife (The Kentucky Rifle in 1970). Schrade USA Limited Edition Uncle Henry Green Bone Trapper Schrade LIMITED EDITION Premium 2 blade trapper.  The knife is 4 1/4" closed.  Schrade + steel Turkish clip, spey blades.  Genuine GREEN BONE handles. Nickel silver bolsters, brass liners.   MADE IN USA!!! This is an absolutely beautiful... VERY VERY RARE Limited Edition knife!!! This knife was an absolutely remarkable find!!!  It was dug out of one of the knife bins that was left after the Schrade factory closed...   I can't find much information on this knife.... other than it was made well before Schrade closed there doors  in 2004.  The knife did not come with a box, but is in mint condition.  The pictures of this knife do not come close to doing it justice.  It is an absolutely beautiful  knife, that  would make a great addition to anyone's collection. Imperial Schrade closed their doors July 30, 2004, after 100 years of business. These knives are very unique, making them extremely collectable.  There will be no more original Schrade knives produced.  Get a piece of Schrade history while you can. These knives are sure to go up in value sense the manufacturer ( Schrade Imperial ) has closed there doors after over 100 years. IMPERIAL Schrade's roots date to the 1870s and the Ulster Knife Co. of Ellenville.
