GG & Company
Schrade Walden of Ellenville, NY
and now Imperial Schrade, still of Ellenville, has been the largest maker of pocket and
hunting knives in the United States, if not the world. They did the very
first collaboration between a manufacturer and a handmade knifemaker (a
Loveless designed hunting knife in 1971-72) and the first commemorative knife
(The Kentucky Rifle in 1970).
Imperial Schrade closed
their doors July 30, 2004, after 100 years of business. These knives
are very unique, making them extremely collectable. There will be
no more original Schrade knives produced. Get a piece of Schrade
history while you can.
