Heartland Pride Outfitters, LLC   The Hunt-  Hunting with Heartland Pride Outfitters, LLC is the greatest chance to experience southern Nebraska at its best.  You have a chance to hunt with guides who are native to Nebraska, educated about the land and animals, & who will customize your hunt to your specific desires.  We cater to your needs in the field, and exceed any expectations overall.  We offer prime hunting habitat for Turkey, Upland Birds, White-Tail & Mule Deer and our fully guided or self guided hunts enable the guide and hunters to work together to be successful.  As a hunter, you also have the opportunity to have your hunt filmed by our personal and professional videographer, who then can create a DVD of your experience with HPO.  Let us know prior to the hunt.   The Land- Located in South-Central Nebraska; the majority of our acres consist of hardwood and cedar tree covered creek bottoms, with corn, soybean, alfalfa, and milo fields, along the woods edge, and other various nutrient-rich foods for turkey, upland birds, and both species of deer.  The other sections of our land contain rolling hills lined with both hardwood or cedar trees and multiple ponds.  This land is closely managed with conservation and management practices being two keys to our success.    Lodging-Your stay at Heartland Pride Outfitters, LLC will be in one of our two lodges.  These lodges are for you to feel at home in and enjoy the company of our staff, each other, and share the day’s experiences and stories.  Each of the lodges has their own kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, and living rooms for your use.  Be sure to clarify the number of hunter’s in your party so we can book appropriately.  This is due to one of our lodges having more rooms than the other.   Guiding & Game Care-At Heartland Pride Outfitters, LLC, our services offer fully guided or self guided hunts.  At your choice, you can have 1:1 or 2:1 guided hunts, or up to 4:1 guided hunts for our upland bird hunts.  We provide the field transportation for all hunts if needed.  Our Guides have been trained at numerous guide schools across the country, and now rigorously scout, and manage to give you the best opportunity possible to harvest your animal/s.  We hunt 100% for your benefit, in order to help you harvest the largest trophy animal possible.  “Trophy Fees” do not apply with Heartland Pride Outfitters, LLC; we do everything in our power to give you as many opportunities at a trophy animal.  Local meat lockers and/or taxidermists are available at your discretion (excluded from price).   Transportation will be provided for you and your trophy to and from taxidermists and lockers after having harvested an animal.  We also have freezers for your game after being cleaned, processed, and bagged.   Booking Your Hunt-We book our hunts on a first-come, first-serve basis.  Some hunts book faster than others due to limited space available.  Call for hunting season dates, permit costs, and schedules.  Contact us ASAP to ensure a good selection of hunts and dates.  A deposit of 50% will be due within 1 week of booking your hunt, with the remaining balance due upon arrival.  Your hunt is not officially booked until deposit payment is received and check has cleared.  Deposits are non-refundable in event of a cancellation.  All licenses and habitat stamps can be purchased via internet at the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission website www.ngpc.ne.us or www.outdoornebraska.com .  Call for more permit information.  We are a 100% fair chase outfitters with no game violations permitted at any time.  Any laws broken will be reported to Nebraska Game and Parks Officials immediately.   Ranches, Packages & Pricing:  At Heartland Pride Outfitters, we hunt on 3 South-Central Nebraska Ranches.  Depending on availability, time of season, species, and the dates desired to hunt, some openings book sooner than others, so be sure to reserve your spot!  In order to receive the hunt and hunt dates desired, 50% of cost is due as a deposit, with the remaining 50% being due upon arrival at the 1 of our 3 ranches you hunt at.  The openings you choose are still available until deposit is received and clear.  Airport pickup will be available for $100 round trip.  Be sure to contact Cody with any desires for hunting with Heartland Pride Outfitters, LLC.  He will be sure to situate and direct you to the Southern Nebraska Hunt of your Dreams.  We outfit you with the best hunt package for your desires and budget, our personal guarantee! Only clients of HPO will be housed at these facilities during your time of stay.   Turkey Creek Ranch This lodge is an older farm house located on Turkey Creek itself.  Cody Kuck’s family settled and farmed here since 1935.  This lodge has three bedrooms, one full bathroom, one laundry room complete with washer and dryer, full kitchen with dishes, living room, and basement for storage, all for your use during the hunt.  This lodge doesn’t have any cable or dish television.  The best virtue about this lodge though is that all you have to do while shot gunning spring turkeys is walk straight across the road, and all of your hunting land is within five to ten miles of your bed.  The lodge is located at the head of Turkey Creek which is a tributary of the Republican River, animals walk through the yard, through the farm site, like no one’s there.  It’s a great experience.  Meals are not served at this ranch, but a full kitchen complete with utensils are for your use.             Cross Diamond Ranch Being more of a modern day lodge, built in 2006, our Cross Diamond Lodge is very comforting for the everyday hunter and hunting party after a long day in the field.  It is a Sale Barn for the owner to sell his livestock at his annual cattle sale, with apartment rooms above the sale arena.  Cable television, laundry room equipped with washer and dryer, full bathroom, industrial size kitchen, bunk room, and master suite are all for your use while lodging at the Cross Diamond Ranch.  Meals are served at this lodge and are included in your hunt cost if you have purchased a Cross Diamond Ranch Hunt.  Republican River Ranch Located in Webster County, our Republican River Ranch offers amazing hunting for all species Heartland Pride offers.  If you have ever desired to hunt a section of the Republican River in Nebraska, this is the perfect ranch for you!  Not having a lodge to stay in, we are in cooperation with the Green Acres Motel in Red Cloud, Nebraska to accommodate your stay.  This is one ranch where the hunting makes up for the motel room stay, Guaranteed!  Meals are not included in this ranch hunt. Spring Turkey Hunt- For our spring turkey hunts, archery falls before shotgun season.  Both seasons are very exciting.  Nebraska Merriam and Rio turkey hunting has risen in popularity as well as population.  Nebraska’s turkey population has risen 4 ½ times greater than the population in that of the year 2002.  In 2008 Heartland Pride went 23 for 24 Long Bearded Mature Turkeys.  The best part of that is we don’t foresee any slowing down. The season is full of long bearded excitement, from the start of archery to the end of shotgun. We also have creek walks with battery powered spotlights for raccoon.   Also, if you have raccoon hounds and want to get them some exercise, our land is prime time ground.
