This auction is for a model M1 helmet and liner in very good condition.  The helmet is a swivel bale, rear seam version with olive drab straps.   Some paint has flaked from the top.  The liner is painted blue with a private’s stripe, the “Big Red One” and a unit emblem, believed to be the 16th regiment, on the side.   It is marked “W” for Westinghouse and the liner adjustment strap looks to be dated 1956.   Please see my auctions for more military items!
