Up for auction here is an AMF-Voit Wing Competition II model 160 takedown recurve bow. Weight range is 30-40 pounds; limb length is 70". The riser itself is about 25 and 1/4 " The bow is in absoluetley fantastic condition. I'm no expert, but I'd estimate the riser (I believe made of cast aluminum) retains at least 99.5% of its original paint and lustre. The only place I can see where there is any kind of paint distortion is the stabilizer receptacle area - just from normal wear of screwing and unscrewing a stabilizer. There are a couple extremely slight marks other than that, but not even worth mentioning - holding the bow at arms length, you'd br hard pressed to see any of them. The limbs are in great shape as well. There is no twisting and absolutely no lamination separation. They are really a work of art. The craftmanship is impeccable. There is slight wear around the are where the bolt connects the limbs to the riser. But again, very slight and not even visible when the bow is put together. I have been in possession of this bow for 27 years, so I know it as at least that old. I will include three strings (one used, 2 new). There is also a bracket on it to mount a sight. I will email you more pictures if you request.
Shipping to US only - no P.O. boxes. PayPal is my preferred method of payment, but a Money Order is OK too. I will ship it the day after payment is received. I will include shipping insurance in shipping costs. Any questions - just ask! Thanks for looking, happy bidding! On Sep-03-08 at 13:54:45 PDT, seller added the following information:The rest is a T-300 model by Cavalier Equipment Co. Its made of chrome-plated steel backed with a pressure sensitive foam adhesive. A very simple device compared with todays rests. I have an extra one, NIB w/instructions I will also include with the bow. |
